Goals from Olmo, Asensio, Ferran Torres, Gavi, Soler, and Morata sealed a comprehensive victory for the Spanish side.
18-year-old Gavi became the youngest goalscorer in World Cup history with his strike in the 74th minute.
Spain's victory means they have secured a place in the knockout stages of Euro 2024 with a game to spare.
Italy, on the other hand, will need to beat Germany in their final group game to have any chance of progressing.
In the other Group B match, Germany beat Czech Republic 2-0 to move into second place.
